The research topics that are part of the programme include Job Demand Resources theory, work engagement, job crafting, the work-family interface, group processes, and job performance. teams; and how you can foster work engagement in employees. Het curriculum Psychologie bestaat uit een reeks modules of cursussen. Elke cursus behandelt één specifiek psychologisch thema. Alle activiteiten die je tijdens deze cursus gaat ondernemen, dus hoorcolleges, werkcolleges, praktijkbijeenkomsten en opdrachten, zijn gerelateerd aan dit thema. Het masterprogramma bestaat uit drie vakken waarin je de onderwerpen van de mastertrack Arbeids- en Organisatiepsychologie bestudeert en een vak statistiek.
In het tweede semester, vanaf februari, doe je een empirisch onderzoek en schrijf je je masterscriptie. Daarnaast is het in sommige gevallen mogelijk om stage te lopen tijdens het semester van de masteropleiding.

Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld trainer, (loopbaan)coach, HR-adviseur, managementtrainee, selectieconsulent of sessor worden bij een werving- en selectiebureau. Wanneer je meer geïnteresseerd bent in onderzoek, kan promoveren ook een goede optie zijn.
